Agrarian Enclave: The Oca Street Bathhouse

This mingle is OTA and can be used like a mini-TDM or meme!

This is another mingle set in Magisteria's Agrarian Enclave, or the Agriculture District. For maximum thirst, it can be combined with the first Enclave mingle, specifically the ambrosial honey. Visitors are welcome to play it as their characters exploring both, either individually or together!

Known throughout the district as a haven for relaxation and wellness, the Oca Street Bathhouse features luxurious hot springs, invigorating steam rooms, and therapeutic pools infused with herbal extracts, all housed in/among rooms with soft, ambient lighting. Visitors may select from among a wide number of "Aqua Aromatics" to produce different sensory experiences.

The Oca Street Bathhouse also offers an impressive number of massage options derived from Otherworlders' ancestral cultures. Whatever your desire, every aspect of the bathhouse is fully customizable for all patrons, lending to a wholesale self-care experience.

[Below are some ideas to get everyone started, though players are of course free to make up their own massage options, bathing rituals, and aromatics! A world like Magisteria would of course have options beyond those from Earth history, but I kept it simple here. Again, feel free to add more!]

Hinoki Wood Bath: Inspired by Japanese traditions, the Hinoki Wood Bath combines warm water and fragrant Hinoki cypress, known for its therapeutic properties. It rejuvenates the body and mind, relieves fatigue, and promotes a sense of tranquility.
Moroccan Hammam: Experience the purifying and exfoliating benefits of a traditional Moroccan Hammam ritual. This steam-based cleansing ceremony invigorates the skin, leaving it refreshed, smooth, and glowing.
Ayurvedic Abhyanga: Drawing from the ancient Indian healing system of Ayurveda, this ritual involves a full-body massage using warm herbal oils tailored to balance the body's specific dosha (constitution). It aims to restore harmony, improve circulation, and nourish the skin.
Turkish Ottoman Bath: Step into a world of opulence and relaxation with the Turkish Ottoman Bath ritual. Enjoy a sequence of hot and cold water treatments, exfoliation, foam massages, and invigorating splashes, all designed to cleanse, revitalize, and refresh the body.

Aqua Aromatics

Blissful Lavender: Extracted from lavender flowers, this herbal extract promotes relaxation and stress relief. It has a soothing aroma that calms the mind and helps to create a tranquil atmosphere in the bathhouse.
Revitalizing Eucalyptus: Derived from eucalyptus leaves, this extract has invigorating properties. It releases a refreshing scent and provides a cooling sensation, revitalizing the body and mind.
Enchanting Rose Petals: The extract from rose petals adds a touch of luxury and romance to the bathhouse experience. It has a delicate and captivating fragrance that promotes self-love, sensuality, and emotional balance.
Soothing Chamomile: Chamomile extract is known for its calming and soothing effects. It is perfect for those seeking relaxation and relief from anxiety or muscle tension. It helps to create a serene and peaceful ambiance in the bathhouse.
Invigorating Peppermint: Peppermint extract offers a refreshing and uplifting experience. Its cool and minty aroma stimulates the senses, providing a burst of energy and clarity. It can also help soothe headaches and improve focus.
Grounding Sandalwood: Sandalwood extract has a woody and earthy fragrance that promotes grounding and centering. It creates a sense of tranquility and aids in meditation and spiritual practices.
Energizing Citrus Blend: A blend of citrus extracts, such as orange, lemon, and grapefruit, can provide an energizing and uplifting experience. The vibrant and zesty scents help to rejuvenate the body and mind, boosting mood and vitality.

Harmonizing Jasmine: Jasmine extract is often associated with relaxation and harmony. Its sweet and floral scent promotes a sense of balance and peace. It enhances the overall sensory experience and encourages self-reflection.

Pleasures of all sorts may become quite real within the sensuous sensory-rich environs. Citizens of diverse backgrounds visit this place. Waterfolk of various kin, but also mundane normie humans, elves, faeries, and even some on the tech-forward side.

PCs are free to handwave interactions with amorous locals or with workers at the establishment, who are trained in full-service massage+pleasure work. Random one-off NPCs can be made for this purpose in the location, so go wild! ♥

Plot Key

At some point, Otherworlders might encounter a worker who looks a little uncertain. She’s conversing with elf guy (likely also a worker there).

Otherworlders may overhear the worker say that lately certain of their clientele had been behaving a bit strangely. Unfamiliar women arriving and … there was talk of induction into some group. Otherworlders will overhear her saying she did manage to collect digital business cards for certain individuals/the organization.

If Otherworlders listen closely, they’ll hear concern: these people were kind of giving off… culty vibes.

PCs are free to approach and ask about those business cards... Simply reply to "Plot Key" below.

"M-mm..."

His eyes skitter one way then the next. Hades finds himself unable to look at Azem properly. His hand grips a little more tightly.

"Please don't tease me, Azem."

That grin turns toothy as they press against him.

"Tease you? Oh, I have not even begun to tease you."

If they're hand wasn't already busy holding his and it wouldn't be too awkward to turn fully toward him they would actually do a little physical teasing. Nothing explicit, mind, perhaps their finger trailing down his chest or something of that nature.

"A-Azem, please..."

Hades is fairly certain Azem knows exactly what they're doing. If this were happening twelve millennia ago, perhaps his reaction might have been different. As it is, he struggles not to fluster and humour his old friend's teasing.

(Rhea'li's network conversation suddenly comes to the forefront of his mind. "I daresay you are enamoured by a charming personality over appearances. The free spirited type
who cannot truly be tied down but is dedicated to the welfare of others.")

Oh.

"If this is you not teasing me, I shudder to think of what is you teasing me," he manages to get out.

Oh, Azem knows what they're doing. Before, it was unintentional but now it's very much intentional.

"Is that so?"

They shift their grip on his hand so that their fingers entwine. As they do, they pivot to settle themself in Hades' lap. They know this is less teasing and more stepping into the realm of foreplay, but that can't be helped when they're both naked.

They grin down at him, leaning in a little while keeping their lower bodies as separated as they can without leaving his lap.

"How much teasing do you think you could take before you can't take it anymore?"

Hades freezes in place. Shock and indecision paralyse him; he can't look away from Azem's grinning visage.

Squirming would just make the situation worse, too.

His lips part but no sound is immediately forthcoming. He's clearly trying to speak and struggling.

"--Azem," he finally manages. "I know I said I was open to-- this. But this is a public bath. I-It would be inappropriate."

He prays Azem doesn't try to shift any closer. He's not entirely certain he could resist the urge to make up for lost time, right here and now.

Azem's free hand rests over Hades' heart, wondering if they can feel it beating as hard as their own. Unfortunately, it's difficult to tell when their own pulse is so strong from their rising excitement. Excitement that might become clear should Hades glance down.

It's difficult for them not to think about how much they'd like to move their hips forward and grind against their dear friend.

They suck in a slow breath, blue eyes burning bright as they lean in while still keeping their hips steady. "'Tis a private room, no?"

"I- I suppose..."

There really is no excuse he can fall back on, is there? Besides his own willingness. And it isn't as though he's unwilling (nor is Azem, he notes skittishly).

His heart beats quickly from nerves. One of his hands carefully lifts and comes to rest gently on Azem's thigh.

"You would...like to, then? Here?"

Azem neither expected to feel their face burning as much as it is nor did they imagine they'd feel such a flutter in their stomach in this situation. Normally, such intimacy and the promise of sex is a nonchalant act for them. But with Hades it's different. They've fantasized about it but never thought it would come to pass given his attitude toward them. Even when he said he'd be willing to, shortly after they arrived, they still didn't expect it to happen.

As his hand finds their thigh, they swallow thickly before a giddy, breathy chuckle escapes them.

"If... If you're not opposed." The bravado of a mere few moments ago seems to have fled.

They're really going to do this here? He finds himself thinking that distantly over the thud-thud-thud of his heart. Swallowing past the lump in his throat, his other hand reaches up and cups their cheek.

Then he leans forward and gently kisses them.

Azem's eyes go wide for a moment before they reciprocate. Wide eyes drifting closed as they melt into Hades. A soft, contented hum can be heard in the back of their throat.

Even if this is all they do right now, they would be happy even if their body desires more.

His heart clenches and he pulls Azem a little more sharply against him. The kiss grows a touch aggressive, Hades seemingly desperate to taste his friend's lips thoroughly.

The towel on his waist rides up with the movement but, well, what does that matter when it's removal feels inevitable?

"You...don't know...how much I missed you," he mumbles against Azem's mouth.

Azem finds themself surprised by the sudden aggressiveness of Hades' kiss and actions. They don't hate it, however, finding it enjoyable enough to let out a little groan.

They press in against him, one hand threading through his hair as they return the kiss with the same fervor.

"I am... getting an inkling," they chuckle.

Hades smirks faintly. Gives them another, gentler kiss for good measure and then purposefully lets his eyes drop down thoughtfully.

"Hmm... Is this the form you want to be in as we do this?" He doesn't mind either way; he just wants to Azem's confirmation.

Azem lets out a happy little hum in response to the gentler kiss.

As Hades' gaze drops Azem's own follows. Their cheeks grow red as they realize they really are going to do this here.

"I... I am fine with whichever form you prefer of me." They don't mind one way or the other. "I will say, either way, water does not make for a good lubricant."

"How fortuitous that this business provides oil for its patrons then," he murmurs.

He reaches for the bottle that is meant to be for fragrance alone.

"I've no preference of form either. And since this would be our first time together, I think you ought to choose."

Azem hums an affirmation in response before their eyes snap open and look over at the bottles by the side of the tub.

"Oh, not that one." They push themself back a little and reach for a different bottle, still unfortunately scented, but less potent and meant for a massage.

As for their form... They really don't like when the choice is up to them, they much prefer to take whatever form their partner wants. Leave it to Hades to leave the choice of them, however.

"I will stay like this." It's easier and less energy spent on transforming again.

He accepts the correct oil without complaint. Having it in his hand makes what they're about to do very real indeed.

"Lie back, then." The stone bench won't be very comfortable but at least it isn't too narrow. They can make do. Or-- They do have their towels...

Hades swallows thickly and starts fumbling with the knot at his waist. "Wait, let's lay our towels down first else you may bruise."

"Maybe I enjoy some bruises," they respond with a grin and teasing tone. However, they still move to lay down the towels, if not for comfort, to make clean up a little easier.

"You know, it doesn't have to be penetrative." They point out as they get comfortable.

Hades makes a funny, consternated sound as he leans over. "I-I realise that," he huffs, cheeks flushing pink. "But I assumed-- well, the feeling seemed to be mutual..."

But Azem is right, there is nothing wrong with simply using their hands. And now he's indecisive. Should he go through with his original plan or follow Azem's suggestion??

"--What do you want to do, then?" he asks.

The pink flush never ceases to amuse Azem. They grin cheekily at him.

Ah, but then he has to ask what they want, and it's their turn to feel a little flustered. They're so much happier just going along with whatever their partner wants. Whatever sense of feeling flustered they may have is pushed aside as a grin forms on their lips, and they lean in closer to him, one hand sliding up his arm.

"I want you to enjoy this," they respond, voice husky, "whether that's inside me or not, is entirely up to you."
