If only there was a way to control the bursterfly without having to manipulate an external device; then it would be much more like what he's accustomed to. Alas.

With a nod, he complies by pressing a button on the joystick-like device, which gets his bursterfly up and hovering a little once he lets go of the button. But one source of his difficulties becomes apparent as, when he tries to get the bursterfly moving he pushes the joystick as far forward as it can go. In response, the bursterfly shoots forward at top speed before clanking with the closest obstacle (his ears fly up in response) and dropping like a stone.

"Ah, this is usually what happens when I attempt to get it moving."
