[The question takes Rhea'li by surprise, though he frowns as he untangles the structure of the simpler magical glyphs, their symbols dissipating as he does so.

He had known that Magisteria considered itself something of a caretaker of other worlds... But... when his star had faced its destruction, the end that near all others stars had suffered, there were no Authorities to call. Would the Ancients have petitioned Magisteria's aid had that possibility been known to them? Would he have done it?

Though he's spent time along the population, it's clear to him there are many cogs in the machine at work here. Rhea'li won't hope to pretend he knows enough to make a judgement on that. But...]


Those like Phantom Cipher don't take such lengths unless there is a fire inside drives them. A wrong that must be made right. A pain so deep they see naught else.

[He can think of a few people like that. He can't be alright with the massive loss of life -- were it not for the miracle -- but...]

It isn't difficult to feel some kinship with that.
