[Katsuki doesn't so much as hit the ground as he lashes out an arm and BOOM!! One of the spiders that had her in its web was scattered into dozens of small, smoldering pieces. He's furious, so the blasts are controlled, but they're powerful, destructive, and big - because he's literally heated from the anger boiling under his skin. The audacity...trying to go after one of his friends, one of his classmates, her of all people?! Teeth bared, Katsuki practically snarls as he stands up from where he blew the first spider to nothing more than a blackened crater in the earth, the Emper Tempests humming with power as they absorb heat and convert it into energy, raw power, stockpiling that for later use...if needed.
He looks back and the fury turns to pride as he sees Uraraka free herself - defiant and strong, just like always. The look of determination and ferocity in those usually warm, bright, brown eyes is amazing, and he feels that stupid little flutter in the pit of his stomach. Damn...what an absolute honor to see that look on her face again. It's amazing, and if he could take a snapshot with his fucking mind, he would, gladly and instantly. That indomitable will is what makes Uraraka truly shine. Katsuki's teeth are still bared, and he's wise to not enter the gravity well she created, but he's grinning now - wild and manic and so, so happy. Happy to see her, happy to know she's safe, and happy to fight alongside her.
