[ There is only one slight problem here, which is that while Gilgamesh may be a talented hero-king with a (usually) virtually endless arsenal of weaponry, he actually has essentially no practical experience handling anything remotely resembling a rifle. Therefore, though his shots are empowered by Bios, he is not a particularly good marksman. A couple of shots miss entirely, while another grazes the creature at just about the area where its neck merges into those thick metallic imitations of shoulder muscles. ]

On the matter of dinosaurs, Quetzalcoatl's pterodactyls were also involved in that conflict, as I recall...

[ Though, Gilgamesh thinks, he is not an expert on such beasts. Now, were one speaking of a divine animal, such as the Bull of Heaven, then he might be more well-versed, but -- ]

[ The grazing shot seems to have agitated the animal (?). It emits a cry that is distinctly not that of flesh vocal chords, full of the roar of cyber-materials, metal parts like gears shifting within it, and the next thing they both know, its movements become quicker and more erratic. More than anything, Gilgamesh seems to have startled this cyborg dinosaur, and now it's moving with a chaotic lack of a path, liable to crash into Lucy and the server if not diverted. ]
