On paper, this seemed a rather simple objective: catch these ridiculous creatures and return them to their mistress.
However, like Emet-Selch, Gilgamesh has come to realize that, in practice, it's a bit more challenging than this. The voice imitations were certainly quite jarring, though he was coming to be more aware of what was a Woofaloomp imitating human speech (mainly because they, like parrots, had obvious limitations thereof) enough not to get too off-track by their attempts to confuse him, but the speed -- that was another matter. Even a hero such as himself could not merely chase down creatures with the ability to engage in whatever this short-form teleportation of theirs was.
"It seems we need a suitable counter for this ability if we are to succeed in this endeavor."
And they were certainly going to succeed in this endeavor: the future of Gilgamesh's projects hangs in the balance, and if all that is standing between him and his ambitions are these furballs, then they are going to have to go down. It is Written.
Anyone who approaches will find him in a contemplative state, the Bursterfly fluttering above. Perhaps its technology, coupled with other technology, could play a role... or, well, there were certainly various options to explore, and any who approaches Gilgamesh can propose ideas, but of course he will also be pleased to discuss his own.
