Gilgamesh is having something of the same thought, especially because he has also found these ridiculous beasts to be rather slippery -- though it might be expected, from how that woman was speaking, but he had been assuming a hero such as himself would find no especial challenge here. Arrogant, but then, of course, that was Gilgamesh. Even, to some extent, his wiser iteration.

"It would seem we need some means of incapacitating these beasts."

Saying it out loud, it even seemed rather obvious: creatures who could glitch from place to place couldn't exactly be carried off.
